Meeting a great Photographer

Sometimes ya just need to have a favorite aisle in the grocery store!

A good family member and friend posted a comment on her facebook this week that stated, " My favorite aisle in the grocery store....the wine!"  Sometimes we have those days that seem never ending.

Although, this week seemed never ending it became perfect for one day! I had the oppportunity to go on a road trip for photography.  The eduction and infirmation received was awesome.   The best of the entire day was meeting Jasmine Star.   Check her out online.  Her wedding photography is amazing!  She is an inspiration to all those photgraphers out there who just one day thought photography would be a neat career to try.  She left law school one day, picked up a camera for the first time in 2007, and today she is an international photographer.  Seriously check her web page out....her pictures will make tears in your eyes.

So it's Sunday and the never ending TV of football, munchies, and great cookouts with the family must come to a close for the work week.  I hope you all have a wonderful Monday.

Come back to my blog anytime and see whose photography session will make the spotlight!

Running

Just to fill you all in I love to run.  There are a few times I come across those moments when my running interfers with my passion for photography.

Seriously...I'm in the middle of running last Saturday AM just a few miles to get my day going.  The sun is up on my left and then there is this gigantic ban of dark clouds headed towards me from my right.  As I turn around the corner of an adjacent neighborhood here is the most beautiful rainbow placed right over the road that I was about to run down.  What an opportunity to take photos.  BUT..no camera.

So I just sat down on the curb and took it all in.  It's rare to get to see such a beautiful sight when we are all so busy these days.  I could of cared less if the next car that passed was mad because I was nearly laying inthe middle of the road looking up!  And I didn't care what I may be missing or that I just completely stopped in the middle of running 4 miles.  Rainbows are rainbows, I've seen them a bazillion times, but it was the whole scene that attracted my eye to sit and say "Wow" now that's a sight I would of missed if I chose to sleep in.

Those are the moments in life I wish my camera would have become the lens of my eye for just one snapshot!

Needless to say, my morning run went well.

Have an awesome Friday!
